Privacy information

Privacy & external services

This page describes what this website currently does, including the services you may choose to visit when contacting or following The Remnant.

Using this site

The website presents nonprofit information. It has no account registration or donation checkout, and it does not ask visitors to provide a religious profile.

The Join page invites visitors to sign up for email updates about The Lift, Steak Nights, and the club. When that signup is active, your name and email are submitted to Beehiiv, the newsletter service The Remnant uses, and handled under Beehiiv’s own policies. You can unsubscribe from any update email, or email Mitch to be removed.

The Denver page asks for your first and last name, email, mobile phone, and optional interests so someone from The Remnant can follow up with you personally. These details are stored in The Remnant’s secure database and seen only by our team. If you tick the optional newsletter box, your name and email are also sent to Beehiiv. If you tick the optional text-message box, we may send you text updates; reply STOP to opt out. If our team uses a contact-management tool (Attio), your details may be copied there for follow-up. Email Mitch to have your details removed.

No Google Analytics, Google Ads tag, or advertising conversion tracking is configured in the site’s application code. This is not a promise that the hosting provider or external services keep no technical logs.

Contacting us

Email links open your own email application addressed to Mitch. If you send an email, the information you choose to include is delivered through your email service and the recipient’s email service.

The “Schedule a call” link takes you to Calendly. Calendly handles information you enter there under its own policies. Following that link is not a completed booking, membership application, or confirmation on this site.

Fonts, social links & diagnostics

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font styles and files from Google’s services, which receive technical request information such as your IP address. Instagram and YouTube are external links, not embedded feeds or video players; choosing those links opens the relevant service.

Required operational error reporting is separate from visitor analytics. If a page fails, the application’s error boundary calls a reporting hook with the exception, page path, and error-boundary context. The hook forwards this to Lovable diagnostics when the hosting integration is present; it does not measure donations, bookings, or participation. Hosting and external services may process technical request information under their own policies.
