The Remnant Men / A letter from the founder

You are not a guest in the Kingdom.
You are an heir.

What we believe. What we fund. And what I'm asking you to do.

Men,

I spent years knowing everything and doing nothing.

Not for lack of good teaching. I sat under faithful pastors. I was a youth pastor myself. I have been in rooms with men who love Jesus and mean every word they sing.

And I still walked out most weeks the same man I walked in.

That was not the church's failure. It was mine. I had heard the truth for years and never once picked it up and carried it anywhere.

Because I was never really convinced of what I was holding.

Nobody has to convince a man he is loved by God. Most of us believe that. What most of us have never accepted is that we were handed authority, and a post, and an order to guard it.

So let me hand you one.

The axiom

Jesus is who He says He is,the cross did what He said it did.
the cross did what He said it did,the blood paid for you in full.
the blood paid for you in full, you were adopted, not tolerated.
you were adopted,you inherit.
you inherit, you carry the authority of the King into every room you walk into.
you carry that authority and never use it,you are a man holding a loaded weapon he refuses to lift.

What that changes

This understanding changes every sphere of influence you operate in.

Not eventually. Immediately.

Your house. A man who knows what he carries stops negotiating with the things he was given authority over.

Your work. You stop performing for a seat you were already given, and you start using the room you are already standing in.

Your church. You walk in as a man with something to hand over instead of a man waiting to be handed something.

Your city. Men like that are contagious. One of them in a room changes what the other men in that room think is possible.

Same man. Same job. Same address. Completely different weight behind everything he does.

What it stands on

Now hear the other half of it, because authority without the fear of the Lord is just a man with an opinion and some volume.

You are not the King. You are an heir under one. Everything you carry was handed to you, and you will answer for how you spent it.

The fear of the Lord is not being scared of God. It is standing in front of Him with your eyes open, knowing exactly who He is and exactly who you are not, and letting that set the terms of your life.

A man standing there stops asking whether a thing is comfortable. He only asks whether it is obedient.

If obedience only happens when it is convenient, it was never obedience. It was preference.

And no man holds that position alone. Not one. Not you, and definitely not me.

You need men around you who have made the same commitment out loud. Obedience regardless of comfort. Regardless of cost. Regardless of what it does to your calendar, your income, or your reputation.

Men who will ask you the question you were hoping nobody would ask. Men who will not accept "I am doing fine." Men who remember what you said you were going to do and who will be standing there next week to find out whether you did it.

That is what a remnant actually is. Not a mailing list. A handful of men who agreed to obey together and then held each other to it.

What we actually are

Gyms across the country license our program. They pay a licensing fee. That fee comes into this nonprofit and it does not sit here.

It goes out three doors.

Door One

Curriculum. Free. To churches who cannot afford it.

Most pastors I know want a men's ministry. What they do not have is the budget, the staff, or the hours to build one from scratch on top of everything else they carry. So we build it for them. A full system, in their hands, ready to run in their building on a Tuesday night, under their name and their leadership. Free. No license, no per seat fee, no upsell. The church gets the credit because the church is doing the work.

Door Two

Catalytic events.

Some men need information. Most men need a moment. We fund gatherings built to hit like a defibrillator, where a man is put in front of what he is carrying and asked what he intends to do with it. Then we hand him back to his church, his pastor, and his people, awake.

Door Three

The fight.

Anti trafficking. Child exploitation. The pro life fight. Real dollars into organizations already in the trenches, already bleeding for it, already doing the work while the rest of us argue about it online.

That is the whole machine. Money in. Three doors out. We keep the lights on and the rest goes to work.

Why this shape

Because a man who is only ever asked for money never becomes dangerous.

Look at the three doors again. Curriculum makes you competent. Events wake you up. The fight gives you somewhere to aim.

Wake up. Get trained. Go fight.

You do not get to skip steps. Nobody pulls 500 off the floor because he decided to on a Tuesday. He put in two years under the bar first.

Formation before deployment. Every time.

Your first post

Start with the four feet in front of you.

Your wife should be able to feel that somebody is standing between her and the world. Your kids should know exactly who the man in that house is. Not because he yells. Because he is immovable, and they have tested it, and he did not move.

If you cannot hold that ground, you have no business talking about the bigger war.

And if you can hold it, you have no excuse left.

The bigger fight

Here is the part I cannot get out of my head.

Children are being bought and sold in this country. Women are being used and discarded and told that it is freedom. The unborn are being counted as inventory.

And there is an army of good men carrying the authority of the risen Christ, still waiting on somebody to give them permission. I was one of them for a long time.

You already have permission. It was purchased at the cross.

The enemy is not confused about what he wants. He wants your daughters, your sons, your marriage, and your city. He has a strategy.

Do you?

The charge

Take ownership. Of your house, your name, your body, your appetite, your money, your mouth.

Take control. Of the ground you were actually given, not the ground you wish you had been handed.

Then take territory. For women with nobody standing for them. For children who cannot fight. For the ones with no voice, no leverage, and no man in their corner.

We are not asking you to join something. We are asking you to take your post.

Read the whole book and the pattern never changes. The Lord has never once started a revival out of a crowd. He starts it out of a remnant. A few men who stayed faithful when it was not popular, not comfortable, and not crowded.

Seven thousand who never bowed. Three hundred at the water. Twelve in an upper room.

He has never needed the majority. He has always used the ones who stayed.

Stay.
